Karunavira (aka ‘KV’) led a half day workshop in February 2016 in which he gave an overview of mindfulness practice and its potential integration into therapeutic work. He is returning by popular request to lead a full day’s experiential workshop. The day will include An Introduction to Mindfulness in Individual Therapy and then focus on how mindfulness of the body and its sensations can help us develop a responsive and empathic therapeutic relationship with clients.
Participants will be using body-felt senses to identify experiences that may arise in the dyad.
Because of the experiential nature of the workshop, involving mindfulness meditation practice throughout the day, the workshop will be limited to 24 participants and will take place at Christ Church Chichester. Places must be booked in advance and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
The cost of the workshop is £45 for members and £50 for non-members.
