Back to the Future + AGM + Marketing and Running a Psychotherapy Service in a Digital Age
This afternoon session begins, as usual, with our short Annual General Meeting, where we will be incorporating our Committee Reports etc.
However, please put your ‘thinking caps on’ as we would like to elicit ideas from members about how the group will move forwards into the future.
SGPC is your society – please help us to go in the direction that best supports you and your work as a Therapist. We value your ideas and perspectives as we move on as a group in the South coast area.
New Website Launch
We will be launching the new SGPC website, and Rob Abbott will demonstrate this on the ‘big screen’ and take us through the website step-by-step, so that you will be able to see how to log-in to the new members’ area, how to renew your membership online, book for future events, set up your listing as a supervisor (or look for a local supervisor), advertise an event or in the calendar, start a discussion in the Forum and more.
Following this, there will be a workshop entitled “Marketing and Running a Psychotherapy Service in a Digital Age:
“Websites, diary and case management software, professional use of social networking, blogging and more.” This will be led by Kate Dunn and Carole Francis-Smith from Diamond Leaf Training. Carole is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist with a specialist interest in this area. An absolute must for any one running their own practice and wishing to use technology to maximise their business.
